Why You Should Have Cold Brew Coffee at Your Office

More and more offices are starting to offer cold brew coffee for their employees at their workplace. Here’s some reasons why you should consider it for your office in Boston as well:

Benefits of Cold Brew Coffee At Your Office

Increased Productivity

One major benefit to providing cold brew to your employees is the increased productivity cold brew has been shown to have. The higher concentration of caffeine in cold brew means that employees will be more alert and focused, leading to increased productivity. Besides, what's better than coming into work and starting off with a cup of cold brew coffee?

It’s a great perk

Providing coffee for your employees is a great way to show them you care about their well-being and want to make their working day more enjoyable. Not only is cold brew coffee delicious, but it also has some great health benefits.

Cold Refreshing Summer Drink

There’s nothing better than a nice cup of cold brew with ice on a hot summer day! At Boston Brew Company, our customers love our cold brew so much that we've decided to start offering it by the keg, with a tap and nitrogen. That way, offices can have cold brew on tap, making it even easier for employees to get their cold brew fix.

How is Cold Brew Made?

Cold brew coffee is made by steeping coffee beans in cold water for an extended period of time, typically 12 hours or more. This results in a coffee that is less acidic and less bitter than regular coffee. Cold brew coffee is also stronger, so you may find that it is great for productivity and getting work done.

At Boston Brew Company, our cold brew coffee is made from small-batch, and our beans are imported straight from Columbian family-owned farms. We cold brew our coffee for 48 hours using filtered water to ensure a smooth, delicious cup of ice cold brew every time.

You can even get Nitro Cold brew, which is cold brew that has been infused with nitrogen gas. This gives the cold brew a creamy, smooth texture and makes it even more enjoyable to drink.

How Much Does It Cost?

You're thinking about adding cold brew or nitro cold brew at your office, and wondering how much does it cost? Well, there's a few different cost elements to think about:

Equipment

Luckily, we make that easy at Boston Brew Company. Our cold brew and Nitro cold brew is full-service, turn-key solution. We bring our kegerator to your office, which is a self sustained unit with refrigeration, a full keg, nitrogen tank and tap already installed.

Service Charges

Some companies will charge you different fees from install to nitrogen refills and maintenance. At Boston Brew our service is all inclusive, so we include the costs of the equipment in our monthly charge. You can also use your existing kegerator and equipment if you already have it!

Keg Cost

And finally you’ll need to pay per keg delivered depending on which drink you decide to have on tap - cold brew, nitro cold brew, Green Tea or Kombucha. At Boston Brew, we make it easy with a standard rate per keg.

How Much Cold Brew Will Employees Drink?

That’s a great question! The amount of cold brew your office drinks depends on many different factors such as the number of employees at the office, their jobs and the season of the year. For example, we’ve noticed that sales people and client services drink a lot more cold brew. Offices also consume a lot more during the summer. Here’s a general rule of thumb for most offices:

  • 20 employees - 1-2 kegs a month

  • 100 employees - 2+ kegs a week

  • 400 employees - 1-2+ kegs a day
